About our

Ndoboa Project

We seek to to empower single mothers to become self-reliance, cater for their children and contribute to the development of society.

About Ndoboa Project

The Ndoboa project is a women empowerment, development, and sustainability program initiated by Brafie Nsoroma Foundation (a Non-Governmental Organization based in Cape Coast, Ghana). This project targets single mothers in the Sawing community (around Cape Coast Technical University, Cape Coast)  which focus on teaching them hard skills for sustainability.

Most often, single mothers in this community sleep around with men for sustainability whiles others resort to beg on the streets. With our hard skills training we hope to eliminate this societal problem among single mothers in this community.

The name “Ndoboa” is popular among farmers in Akan communities in Ghana. It is a concept where you help your brother weed his farm and he also help you to weed yours so that at the end you will have a bumper farm yield. We adopted the name because the participants we train are expected  to also train other single mothers.

Our Vision & Mission.
